Taxi connections from Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino Airport to Rome
Taxi are outside the national and international arrivals terminal. Journey time from Fiumicino to Rome (within the Aurelian Walls) is about 40/50 minutes, at a fixed fare of € 48.00 including extra charges.
The cars for the taxi service of the City of Rome are white and can be recognized by the sign "TAXI" on the car top and by the identifying licence number on the doors, on the back and inside the car.
Ciampino airport, 13-Km south-east of Rome, is a small airport used mainly for domestic flights and international charter flights. There is a bus service that runs about every 20 minutes during the day (less frequent at night) and connects Ciampino airport to Termini station in about 40 minutes.
Rome can also be reached via the high speed train Freccia Rossa and by other railway lines that link Termini station with the most important Italian and international cities.
